    Diagnosis: Granular cell tumour

  • Features:

    • May give rise to concern clinically and on imaging
    • Subtle connective tissue infiltration by cells with small central nuclei and abundant granular cytoplasm
    • Granules stain positively with PAS - but not very well in this case!
    • Cytoplasm shows positive staining with S100
    • Benign clinical course
