Diagnosis - Invasive carcinoma, no special type, Grade 1

Features to note:


• Discrete tumour mass with infiltration by nests of epithelial cells in solid groups and acinar forms



• Tumour cytology "malignant"



• Local stromal recation to invasive tumour cells - oedema and elastosis



• Only one cell type present in tumour groups - no myoepithelial component seen - use immuno to confirm if in doubt
